Isn't Life Swell....

Lately, it's all been coming together! And, although we definitely should subscribe to "workaholics anonymous", we love every minute of it, because A) who wouldn't love getting to spend time "working" with their BFF's and B) we can play dress up all the time... (ie. get really formally dressed up one day, wear platforms at 10am, a bow tie on a random Tuesday, then throw on a vintage Harley t-shirt with leathers the next). Yesterday, we had meetings on top of meetings, and decided to get a little fancy. So fun! While parts of this look may say Upper East Side, dahhhhling (because that is exactly where we were headed), the ultimate point is that we can never deny our edgy roots. This is where the leather shorts, platforms, stacked rings, skinnies, and Beatle boots come in. All us, all the time.

I adore this cape! The fur detailing is just the best - I bought it for $10. Ten whole entire dollars, can you believe it?!

My rings are a scrambled mix. Two thrifted ones, paired with a David Yurman that I wear every single day of my life. Besides, the more rings the better, right?

Dave hates wearing a bow tie, but he looks totally handsome in one - and...should wear one all the time (like he does blazers).

Stripes and tweed always make the perfect pair. Such a fun take on a formal look. It also seems Dave should be speaking in an English accent and sipping on latte's (oh wait, he does sometimes)........
